Asheville area foreclosures at record levels
Mirroring a statewide trend, home foreclosures have soared to record levels in the mountains, particularly in Buncombe County.
Foreclosure Filings Fall In Connecticut In June, But Still Above Last Year’s Levels
For the second month in a row, Connecticut foreclosure filings dipped compared with the previous month, but levels continue to be higher than a year ago, according to a report to be released today.
Lenders launched foreclosure actions against more than one in every 200 U.S. mortgage borrowers in the fourth quarter of 2006, the biggest share of homes at the start of the repossession process on record.
